John 15:4-5  Abide (remain) in Me, and I in you. As the branch is not able to bear fruit of itself, unless it remain in the vine, so neither can you unless you remain in Me.  5  I am the Vine; you are the branches. The one abiding in Me, and I in him, this one bears much fruit, because apart from Me you are not able to execute, nothing.

With all of the praises that is being showered, no, FLOODED on the Pope, how come more people don't ask themselves "WHAT THE HECK IS GOING ON?"
The masses are more than idolizing him, they are clearly putting him linear to Christ, and the noone seems to see anything wrong with this.
I am not blind, stupid or under any type of misconceptions. I am not taking away from the MAN anything that he has (seemingly) accomplished and I could not do what he has done, nor am I in a position to do so. He brings an OK moral message, but it's nothing that hasn't been said by a multitude of other people and in better ways. I am not saying he is THE anti-christ or THE false prophet, although the latter could very well be true. But the way the masses hold on to every letter that he speaks, if Pope Francis is not the second beast of Revelation, he is clearly is setting the path for him. With no guilt or second thought, Pops Francis has been called "holy father" "your holiness" "papa Francis" etc.
He just finished speaking for roughly 7 min. short speech at the U.N. He said NOTHING, and yet I know what he said will be exalted beyond measure! (His "big speech" at the United Nations General Assembly will begin shortly).
People consistently comment on how he is preaching the same message as Christ about loving your neighbor, etc. That's great morally. Christ did not come preaching a "moral" gospel, and yet this is solely what he is being praised for. Preaching a social gospel that can, will be and is being accepted by all no matter the religion or lack of it. He is appealing to everyone. People's hearts are not with God or seeking after God, but after a man.
The "Moral Gospel" did not start in The New Testament, and with Jesus Christ.
Isaiah 1:15-17  And when ye spread forth your hands, I will hide mine eyes from you: yea, when ye make many prayers, I will not hear: your hands are full of blood.  (16)  Wash you, make you clean; put away the evil of your doings from before mine eyes; cease to do evil;  (17)  Learn to do well; seek judgment, relieve the oppressed, judge the fatherless, plead for the widow.
-However, the bulk of the message is not in being morally good, but on worshiping the one and true God from the heart:
Isaiah 1:4  Ah sinful nation, a people laden with iniquity, a seed of evildoers, children that are corrupters: they have forsaken the LORD, they have provoked the Holy One of Israel unto anger, they are gone away backward.

Pope Francis, if he is not the false prophet (he is 78 years old and suffers some ailments), he is clearly preparing people's hearts and minds to welcome THE false christ, an all embracing, all inclusive christ of morals and universality. It is therefore no coincidence that he is addressing the largest assembly of world leaders at the United Nations.

2 Corinthians 11:13-15  For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ.  14  And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light.  15  Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works.
Galatians 1:7-9  Which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ.  8  But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.  9  As we said before, so say I now again, If any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed.

John 15:6  Unless one abides (remains) in Me, he is cast out as the branch and is dried up; and they gather and throw them into a fire, and they are burned.
