ROMANS 1:16-32 IS NOT FOR NON-BELIEVERS AND ATHEISTS

ALTHOUGH, WE, AS BELIEVERS IN CHRIST, RECOGNIZE THAT ALL OF NATURE POINTS TO THE BIBLICAL JEHOVAH/JESUS CHRIST, AND WHO HE IS AS CREATOR, THE LETTER TO THE ROMANS IN THE BIBLE WAS NOT WRITTEN NOR INTENDED FOR NON-CHRISTIANS, OR ATHEISTS  IN CONDEMNATION FOR NOT BELIEVING IN JESUS, GOD OF THE BIBLE, AND/OR A CREATOR (while all atheists are non believers, not all non believers are atheists).

All Christian apologists, Church leaders, and Theologians that I have heard (and the many who are parroting them), are falsely and wrongly interpreting it in this way. We have just accepted this as truth without seeking discernment for ourselves and seeking what all of scripture has to say. I KNOW, and you should also, that God has purposefully ordained scripture should interpret and confirm itself and He has provided The Holy Spirit to bring discernment, to allow as little room for error as possible for those who seek His truth.

Romans is written ".... to the Jew first, and also to the Gentile."

  In Romans 1:16-32, the Spirit of God is conveying to His people that Israel's fall from God's grace is due to their lifestyle of consistent and habitual disobedience, and constant and belligerent refusal to give their hearts to God. Secondly, it is a lesson for those who say they are believers in Christ.  To see these passages as anything other than that is to give into and further perpetuate the lie and false doctrine that supports Calvinism and eternal security. This false belief  that Romans 1 is about non-Jews/Christians has permeated the teachings of Churches and denominations, even those who do not subscribe to eternal security. I see this lie and all eternal security/predestination (and the pre-trib rapture) doctrine as a virus that has been and continues to be spread from Christian to Christian and church to church. As long as we continue to blindly accept other's interpretation of scripture rather than seeking the discernment from the Spirit for ourselves, we will continue to be spiritually subservient to men and not God. His word says he desires and is able to bless all with understanding. Doubt it not!   When Romans 1 is properly understood, eternal security collapses in on itself.  Maybe then will Christians begin to walk circumspectly  in Christ.Ephesians 5:15-16

APOSTATE: ONCE WAS, BUT IS NO LONGER

This is the first lie that must be combatted. This scripture has been intentionally and wrongly translated  by different bible translations in order to support eternal security:

2 Thessalonians 2:3  kjv

Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;

The term "falling away" needs clarification for some, especially when we have been consistently pelted with the eternal security lie.

Here is how the popular ESV translation interprets the phrase:
2 Thessalonians 2:3 esv
Let no one deceive you in any way. For that day will not come, unless the rebellion comes first, and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the son of destruction,

The word "rebellion" is subjective because of the varying degrees of it's meaning. However, more importantly, "rebellion" is not just a "word is correct, but there's a better word to use" translation. It's an outright wrong word.  The only meaning of the term "falling away" is apostate, which leaves no true wiggle room for subjections:
a person who forsakes his religion, cause, party, etc.

CLEAR AND UNDERSTOOD

Romans 1:19-21
Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; because God has shewed it unto them. 20  For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are
clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:  21 Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened

Psalms 78:22-33
 22  Because they believed not in God, and trusted not in his salvation:  23  Though he had commanded the clouds from above, and opened the doors of heaven,  24  And had rained down manna upon them to eat, and had given them of the corn of heaven.  25  Man did eat angels' food: he sent them meat to the full.  26  He caused an east wind to blow in the heaven: and by his power he brought in the south wind.  27  He rained flesh also upon them as dust, and feathered fowls like as the sand of the sea:  28  And he let it fall in the midst of their camp, round about their habitations.  29  So they did eat, and were well filled: for he gave them their own desire;  30  They were not estranged from their lust. But while their meat was yet in their mouths,  31  The wrath of God came upon them, and slew the fattest of them, and smote down the chosen men of Israel.  32  For all this they sinned still, and believed not for his wondrous works.  33  Therefore their days did he consume in vanity, and their years in trouble.

 When what CAN be understood about God is CLEARLY seen and understood, this is talking about DIRECT revelation from God, and not a "God has revealed Himself through nature" type of revelation. To think a non-Jew or non-Christian could be held more responsible for not turning to God because they were given by God clear understanding of His triune nature (which is the ONLY translation for the word translated as "Godhead") and eternal power, while those who purport to know the God and Christ of the bible can live godless lives and are less responsible, is the epitome of foolishness and ignorance.The word says they saw it CLEARLY.  What this really means is they had

clear understanding, or as the Greek translates it, they DISTINCTLY APPREHENDED what God had shown them!
They possessed a first hand definitive and intimate understanding.
We, ourselves, who proclaim the triune God, always follow any attempted explanation with "We can never truly understand it...". How, then, can we rightly expect someone who doesn't have the indwelling Holy Spirit to know or understand it?
1 Corinthians 2:14  But the natural man does not receive the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him; nor can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.

CR

Numbers 14:21-23
But as truly as I live, all the earth shall be filled with the glory of the LORD.  (22)  Because all those men which have seen my glory, and my miracles, which I did in Egypt and in the wilderness, and have tempted me now these ten times, and have not hearkened to my voice;  (23)  Surely they shall not see the land which I sware unto their fathers, neither shall any of them that provoked me see it:

Ezekiel 20:5  And say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; In the day when I chose Israel, and lifted up mine hand unto the seed of the house of Jacob, and made myself known unto them in the land of Egypt, when I lifted up mine hand unto them, saying, I am the LORD your God;

Ezekiel 20:8  But they rebelled against me, and would not hearken unto me: they did not every man cast away the abominations of their eyes, neither did they forsake the idols of Egypt: then I said, I will pour out my fury upon them, to accomplish my anger against them in the mdst of the land of Egypt.

REBELLION- From the Greek definition:  to purposefully, willingly, knowingly and intentionally open revolt and resist authority; refusal to obey rules or standards(in this case, God's)of behavior. This kind of rebellion depends on an intimate knowledge and/or relationship in order to knowingly and intentionaly rebel

Hebrews 2:3-4
how shall we escape if we neglect such a great salvation? It was declared at first by the Lord, and it was attested to us by those who heard,  (4)  while God also bore witness by signs and wonders and various miracles and by gifts of the Holy Spirit distributed according to his will.
Hebrews 11:3
BECAUSE OF OUR FAITH, WE KNOW  that the world was made at God's command. We also know that what can be seen was made out of what cannot be seen.
