THE BOOK OF JOB: PARABOLIC NOT LITERAL

Job 1:6-8
And a day came when the sons of God came to present themselves before Jehovah. And Satan also came among them.  (7)  And Jehovah said to Satan, From where do you come? Then Satan answered Jehovah and said, From going to and fro in the earth, and from walking up and down in it.  (8)  And Jehovah said to Satan, Have you set your heart against My servant Job, because there is none like him in the earth, a perfect and upright man, one who fears God and turns away from evil?

The only way the commonly held, literal view of Job could be true, is to accept  that the Jewish view of Satan is true as well:

".......in Judaism Satan is an agent of G-d, who provides opportunities for us to grow, to respond to our passions and desires by producing things of value in this world and to become stronger spiritual people."

BECAUSE OF HIS VERY NATURE,  IT IS IMPOSSIBLE FOR  OUR GOD, WHO IS ETERNALLY  AT ALL TIMES, ALL HOLINESS AND ALL RIGHTEOUSNESS , THE AUTHOR, EPITOME  AND MAINTAINER OF ALL THAT IS HOLY AND RIGHTEOUS, TO ALLOW  SIN INTO HIS PRESENCE, LET ALL LUCIFER aka SATAN, WHO IS THE  AUTHOR, ORIGINATOR, AND MASTER OF IT.

Joh 3:20  For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved.

II Corinthians 6: 14

Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?

I John 2: 16

For all that is  in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.

SIN CAN NOT  DWELL IN THE FACE OF PERFECT HOLINESS, NOR WOULD THE SINFUL WANT TO BE IN THE PRESENCE OF HOLINESS.

The Spirit of God says our battle is against Satan, his demons, prophets and ministers, and his human minions.

Ephesians 6: 12
For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places

If OUR battle is with Satan, how much more so is that battle between Satan and holy, Heavenly angels? When Satan and one third of the angels rebelled, the war between angelic forces took place, and Satan was cast out of heaven. He was cast out because of sin.

Luke 10:18  And he said unto them, I beheld Satan as lightning fall from heaven.
Though many interpret this verse to mean Satan's fall from spiritual power and authority, I believe within the context of the other verses in the bible that speaks about Satan and his fall, it has a double meaning

Isaiah 14:13-15
For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north:  14  I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High.  15  Yet thou shalt be brought down to hell, to the sides of the pit.

It doesn't make spiritual common sense, that somehow there is a spiritual truce on God's nature, and Satan is allowed access back and forth into God's presence.

Ephesians 5: 11
And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them.

The Spirit tells us to not even have them in our presence. Would God allow His Angels, who also have free will, tolerate Satan in their presence? Do you believe that God's holy Angels would even be able to tolerate sin around them?

Isaiah 14:12  How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations!

2 Peter 2:4  For if God spared not the angels that sinned, but cast them down to hell, and delivered them into chains of darkness, to be reserved unto judgment;

In Genesis, SATAN IS CURSED BY GOD. How can any person or being who is cursed by God have unfettered access  cursed COULD never be in His presence.

A murderer will never be able to stand in the presence of God.  Christ says Satan is a murderer!

John 8:44
Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.
