Through him we have also obtained access by faith into this grace by which we have been established, and we boast because of our hope in God's glory.
Then Peter opened his mouth, and said, Of a truth I perceive that God is no respecter of persons:
For there is no respect of persons with God.
Your education or lack of one doesn't matter and is no excuse. No socio-economic background will matter for or against you. God doesn't see anyone as better or less than another. No excuses for not growing in Him because of lack of education. Neither do you have a greater calling or are better than those who have less than because of your riches and education!
Therefore, how should we treat one another as Christians? Is this how those on the political right treat those who they already deem as "less than"? Is this how this "Christian nation" has treated those of us of color or economic disparities?
Those of the Evangelical movement who claim to be the voice, heart and mind of Christ for this Nation in particular, have their actions been reflective of a true heart full of grace? How have they continued time and again to measure those who do not subscribe to a Republican party affiliation? Even as an evidently sold out for Christ believer who doesn't subscribe to any political affiliation, if you don't drink their kool-aide, you are put in the same box as those who they deem as leftist and immoral and fall under their very broad swath. This is not demonstrative of God's grace. People like this will be judged more harshly in the day of judgment because they claim Christ and claim to know His will.
