The travesty of the Coronavirus and its varied
impact on the lives of the living goes without saying!
People are suffering physically, emotionally, economically, mentally!
This is how people are realistically preparing:
“Workers are building a makeshift morgue outside of a Manhattan hospital to deal with an anticipated surge of corona virus victims in New York City in the coming weeks. Chilling photos from the construction site Wednesday showed rows of white tents being set up outside Bellevue Hospital.”
supposedly would happen during the Obama administration,
which never came close to manifesting. Although, it reads as if they were talking about what's actually happening RIGHT NOW!
The point is this:
God and His ways are not first in the hearts of so many of those calling themselves Republican Evangelicals.
They consider themselves called by the God of Abraham, Issac and Jacob. God did not offer a different set of precepts because Christ's sacrifice was the fulfillment of THE LAW! GOD EXPECTED righteousness from His people in the Old Testament and He expects righteousness from His people today! There was judgment for those who
went astray then, and there is judgment for those who fall away now!
favoritism, and HIS WORD says He DOES not!
Then Peter opened his mouth, and said, Of a truth I perceive that God is no respecter of persons:
And from those who seemed to be influential (what they were makes no difference to me; God shows no partiality)—those,
I say, who seemed influential added nothing to me.
Alex Jones, Mark Dice, and the late Texx Marrs ! The purposeful willingness in Evangelicals to look past, over and underneath the evils of this current
administration in justification of their own sin speaks volumes as to their “Christianity”! How can we even think to escape the same judgment that ABSOLUTELY mirrors the sins of God's people in the Old
Therefore, as the Holy Spirit says, “Today, if you hear his voice, 8 do not harden your hearts as in the rebellion, on the day of testing in the wilderness, 9 where your fathers put me to the test and saw my works for forty years. 10 Therefore I was provoked with that generation, and said, ‘They always go astray in their heart; they have not known my ways.’ (11) As I swore in my wrath, ‘They shall not enter my rest.’” 12 Take care, brothers, lest there be in any of you an evil, unbelieving heart, leading you to fall away from the living God.
And in this place again, "They shall not enter into My rest."
6 Since then it remains that some must enter into it, and since they to whom it was first preached did not enter in because of unbelief, 7 He again marks out a certain day, saying in David, "Today," (after so long a time). Even as it is said, "Today, if you will hear His voice, harden not your hearts." 8 For if Joshua had given them rest, then He would not afterward have spoken of another day. 9 So then there remains a rest to the people of God. 10 For he who has entered into his rest, he also has ceased from his own works, as God did from His. 11 Therefore let us labor to enter into that rest, lest anyone fall after the same example of unbelief.
As always, pray for direction and discernment from The Lord.
