Pray without ceasing.
I just wanted to share my thoughts on what I see regarding why we act the way we do at times. Why does it at times seems as if the masses actions are scripted?
Its amazing and scary to see how we allow tv shows and movies take us through daily emotional changes, highs and lows. We have givin it place in our hearts and minds, and many times our days are governed by our "shows". It's almost as if spells have been cast over us, hm?
Is Television being used as a "Tell A Vision", governed by channels (as in channeler, occult mediums) complete with programs?
Hollywood, music and the internet have the ability to shape how we see and judge others, things and events. It can control how, when and why we respond to the situations that we do, with "reality shows" being the worse offenders, instigators and antagonizers.
This happens even when we dont expect it or want it to. It takes purposefully spending less and time watching tv, surfing channels, and being mindful of what and who we interact with on social media and on the internet. In these days when we absolutely NEED to hear from God maybe more than ever before, we need to spend more time actively seeking his voice, direction, empowering and wisdom and less time giving ear to the other streams we keep plugging into.
I believe it's ultimate purpose is to deaden our senses to God's Spirit and shape our moral compass. God doesn't scream His direction at us.
1King 19:12
And after the earthquake a fire; but the LORD was not in the fire: and after the fire a still small voice.
He wants us to know His voice.
John 10:27
My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:
We cant get to hear and know His voice by growing more intimate with the world and its voice.
Even if God were to scream His message to us audibly, we've learned and have been conditioned to only trust the voice and message of the world.
