RECENT EVENTS: The Importance Of Understanding/Discernment

Luke 12:54-56  

And He also said to the crowd, When you see the cloud rising up from the west, you immediately say, A storm is coming; and it happens so.  55  And when a south wind is blowing, you say, There will be heat; and it occurs.  56  Hypocrites! You know to discern the face of the earth and of the heaven, but how is it you do not discern this time?

Matthew 24:32-33  

But understand the parable of the fig tree: When its branch becomes tender and it puts out leaves, you know that the summer is near;  33  so also you, when you see all these things, know that it is near at the doors.

Brothers and Sisters, 

I haven't posted here lately not because there has been anything to say, rather there is TOO much to say!  There have been so many voices of so many differing opinions, I thought my very small voice of truth to be insignificant. 

In light of the George Floyd murder by Minneapolis police, the protests and riots taking place, lack of true direction from Black, spiritual leadership, while  the Trump administration definitely leading in a particular direction, I can no longer avoid putting pen to paper regarding the times we find ourselves in. I will not be posting all at once. As I said, there is way too much too share, so I will start with today's thoughts on these times we are going through.  

I will start off by saying I do not believe any of what we are experiencing in this nation to be coincidence. Whether the timing of COVID-19, the protests, the threats of military AND the existing  armed militia in the streets, or the 2020 supposed upcoming presidential election, I believe it to all be planned and executed. And it did not start with this current POTUS.  

Hosea 4:6 

My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children.

In light of what Jehovah God has told His people time and again and what I have seen and experienced from those who claim to know God and those who don't,  I believe the better translation for "knowledge" in Hosea 4:6 is "understanding". This is key. 
We are being led into spiritual destruction!  We are walking in our conditioning and programming, because we either don't know or don't understand our godly place and value! It's okay to be angry. The Spirit says "be angry but sin not!" But our old ways will not lead us to the new place we need to be!  We cant let our righteous anger be turned into unrighteous actions! 

With the advent of the internet, the dark web and general education, EVERYONE can know something regarding God, Jesus Christ, religion, end times, atheism, spirituality, cults, Freemasons, Illuminati, cabals, etc! There is every interpretation and slant that we can imagine from one end of the planet to the other and back. This can and does lead many of those who may have been strong Christians into Gnosticism, a search for truths that may be hidden or held in secret. The word itself means "knowledge" or "insight". 

Every cult, every religion, spiritualist movement, satanist, etc claims to KNOW A god, for

you see, the term is very generic. the god of satanists is Lucifer, the god of some creationist can range from Pan,  Sol Invictus, Demiurge, etc. 

In our very own King James Version bible, the Old Testament  Jehovah, (Hebrew YHWH) is reduced to the translation "God", based on the JEWISH thought or philosophy of not saying Jehovah's name. 

Matthew 15:7-11 
You hypocrites! Well did Isaiah prophesy of you, saying: (8) "This people come near to me with their mouth, and honor me with their lips; but their heart is far from me.  (9)  But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the religious precepts of men." (10)  And he called the multitude, and said unto them, Hear, and understand:  (11)  Not that which goes into the mouth defiles a man; but that which comes out of the mouth, this defiles a man.

They can read and recite the bible backwards if they want, it's not reading and knowing the name of Jesus that saves, it's understanding and walking in His ways! They ingest the word but speak hatred, racism and elitism! They claim to be godly, while having hearts filled with ungodliness!

 Luke 6:44 
For every tree is known by his own fruit. For of thorns men do not gather figs, nor of a bramble bush gather they grapes.

Galatians 5:19-25  

Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, impurity, excessive indulgences ,  (20)  Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, quarreling, jealousies, wrath, strife, divisions, heresies,  (21)  Envying, murders, drunkenness, rioting, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.  (22)  But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, long-suffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,  (23)  Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.  (24)  And they that are Christ's have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts.  (25)  If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.

James 3:12 

Can the fig tree, my brethren, bear olive berries? either a vine, figs? so can no fountain both yield salt water and fresh.

It's not the knowledge of God in Christ that saves. It's having the proper understanding of who He is scripturally and spiritually, that leads to faith and true salvation. 

Matthew 13:15  

For this people's heart is waxed gross, and their ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes they have closed; lest at any time they should see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and should understand with their heart, and should be converted, and I should heal them.

Most religions, cults and spiritualists have a knowledge of Jesus, but lack and don't want understanding. The Jesus of the Mormons, Muslims, Buddhism doesn't bring salvation because knowledge can come from anywhere, anything, any other god or spirit. Most of us are seeking knowledge from other streams and sources, which will not lead us to where we need to be. This societies education system (even our Seminaries) is geared toward the Greek philosophy of gnosis, seeking knowledge or higher education. 

The reality is that understanding of what we are going through as a people of color AND as a people of God (the biblical Jehovah) can only become clear when we seek the understanding that only comes from His abiding Spirit, if we truly abide in HIM. We can only have proper actions when we have proper understanding. The more unclear our understanding, the less effective our actions will be. 

Matthew 7:13-14  

Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that lead to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat:  14  Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which lead to life, and few there be that find it.

Do you remember having to tune the radio stations? Sometimes not hearing the stations clearly, not the right station, or static? The clearer and closer the line to the radio transmitter, the clearer the signal (not taking into account the power of the transmitters). Think of Jehovah and prayer in this way. The more the distractions, less prayer, improper or false understanding, WILL lead to less clear/more static in hearing God, IF we can hear at all. 

Likewise, the way to know what is being used as distractions and avoid them is to gain His understanding.  

Proverbs 4:5-7  

Get wisdom, get understanding: forget it not; neither decline from the words of my mouth.  6  Forsake her not, and she shall preserve thee: love her, and she shall keep thee. 
7  Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding.

Matthew 6:33 

But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

Matthew 7:7-8 
Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you:  8  For every one that asks, receives; and he that seeks shall find; and to him that knocks, it shall be opened.

Luke 8:10 
And he said, Unto you it is given to understand the mysteries of the kingdom of God: but to others in parables; that seeing they might not see, and hearing they might not understand.

Luke 24:45 
Then opened he their understanding, that they might understand the scriptures,
